I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to Katie Haines and the staff and sponsors of this prestigious ballet competition. The 2015 AHA was a wonderful experience and I am very grateful to have been the recipient of a two week scholarship to the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in London, UK.

During my time at Rambert, I joined the first year students in doing a variety of classes such as classical, repertoire, pas de deux, contemporary, critical studies, choreography, improvisation, Pilates, and cardio. I particularly enjoyed participating in the contemporary classes as I got to learn and explore many new styles of contemporary dance. The staff at Rambert were all very informative, kind, and humorous. I am truly honoured to have had the opportunity to be taught by such inspiring teachers and have learnt so much from them in just two weeks.

Thank you very much once again to Katie Haines and all the people involved in bringing together the AHA competition every two years. It is a great experience for all dancers and offers amazing opportunities and scholarships that encourages young dancers to grow significantly.
