HOUSTON BALLET ACADEMY SUMMER INTENSIVE

Chloe writes…. 

I would like to thank the Alana Haines Awards and Houston Ballet Academy for the incredible opportunity to attend their Summer Intensive for six weeks in 2017.

The Houston Ballet Academy has exceptional facilities and teachers.

I felt I gained so much through the Intensive training and the six weeks flew by way too fast! 

The Summer Intensive Program really pushed me to grow technically and artistically, with daily technique, pointe and repertoire classes.  I especially enjoyed pas de deux and learning new variations.

The six weeks ended with a series of performances over two days, as well as our classical repertoire we performed a Bollywood dance, which was lots of fun and a bit different!

I also made some great new friends and got to watch the stunning company performance of La Bayadere with them.

I will be forever grateful for this amazing opportunity.

My thoughts and prayers are with Houston following Hurricane Harvey.
