Thank you very much to AHA and Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet School for awarding me with a 2 week Scholarship to the RWB School. I had the most amazing time; gaining an insight into life as a full-time student in levels 2/3 and 4 of the Professional Division.

During my stay, I participated in Classical, Pointe, First Steps, Modern, Music and Movement Composition classes. The standard of talent was so high in all of the classes, inspiring me to improve, which I loved. The facilities are amazing and the teachers were very supportive and caring. I loved getting to know the full-time students who were all so welcoming during my stay.

It was great to see how much the students and teachers love what they are doing and the approach they take that is a little bit different to anything I have ever experienced before. I particularly enjoyed being taught new syllabus/exercises every week, which is challenging and encourages the students to take more responsibility.

This experience was unforgettable and one that I will cherish. Thank you very much.
