Joel Woellner
Joel Woellner joins the 'HOUSTON BALLET COMPANY in Texas (AHA International Scholarship sponsors 2011).
Joel is from NSW Australia & trained at Tanya Pearson Classical Coaching
He was 1st Runner-up B group at the AHA Awards 2011
Joel attended classes and rehearsals at the Australian Ballet Company on the 2-5th of August as part or the Scholarship that he was awarded in Auckland in the Alana Haines Australasian Awards.
Joel's feedback is as follows: My time with the Australian Ballet Company was fantastic. Mary Li took 2 of the classes so it was great to see a familiar face. She was very friendly and it was great to catch up with her again.David Mc Ailister took a class and I was able to thank him personally after the class for such a great opportunity.
I am now in the process of packing my bags as I start with the Houston Ballet II Company (in Houston Texas) on the 22nd August. I fly out of Sydney on the 17th.This is very exciting and I am looking forward to this opportunity.
Thank you once again for the wonderful opportunity the Alana Haines Competition has provided me.I will keep you updated with my progress.
